Virtual Law Enforcement
Torch Run for Special Olympics Ohio

Thursday, June 18th - Sunday, June 28th
Statewide

The Law Enforcement Torch Run (LETR) for Special Olympics Ohio is a partnership between Special Olympics and law enforcement agencies throughout the state. Officers join together to bike, run, and walk all across the state. This year, due to COVID-19, the traditional Torch run will be a Virtual Torch Run! Virtual running works exactly the same as any other type of running, but the difference is that the entered race can be run at any location, at any pace, inside on a treadmill or outside on the road!

A $25 registration fee includes 1 commemorative 2020 LETR dry-wick tshirt. Your shirt will be shipped directly to your home address and you are guaranteed to receive it by June 18th provided you register by June 8th. If you register after June 8th you will still receive a shirt, but it is not guaranteed to arrive by the 18th. Processing, shipping & handling are an additional $5, totaling to a $30 fee. With a $50donation, you will receive both a t-shirt and a Ohio LETR 2020 Challenge Coin! Processing, shipping, and handling are included in the $50 to receive both the shirt and the collectable coin. Officers and runners alike are encouraged to collect donations from colleagues, friends and family members. Every donation goes towards providing year-round activity, sports training, and competition for 22,000 Special Olympics Ohio athletes!

The Flame of Hope has been proudly carried by tens of thousands of officers over the past 34 years. Join us as we carry on the tradition of carrying the Flame of Hope for Special Olympics Ohio, raising funds and awareness along the way!
