Columbus Schools Special Olympics
Columbus Schools Special Olympics program consists of over 750 athletes who participate in various sports through out the year. Our in-school program is made up of athletes from 50 Columbus schools who participate in basketball as well as track and field events during the school year. We also have an evening program which is open to both current students as well as past graduates. These athletes compete in 15 different sports throughout the year.
Our program is almost entirely self-funded and we rely on donations to make our program a success and give our athletes access to compete in as many events as possible.
On Feb 8th, team Flinstone will be particpating in jumping in the freezing waters of the Polar Plunge to raise money for our program. Please click on our page to donate money for our program and share it on social media, or with your friends and family. Most of our fundraisers are local events so this is a great opportunity for those family and friends who may live elswhere to support our program as well.
All of our athletes, coaches and volunteers appreciate your support.
