As some of you may already know, our late coworker, Mike Kaiser, was a big supporter of the Special Olympics and a long-time participant of the Polar Plunge. In 2018, we had the honor of joining Mike for the Caesar's Creek Plunge for our first plunge. This was the last thing we got to do with him. He talked about how he wanted to get a large team to represent MSD/RSM for this yearly event. Unfortunately God had other plans and Mike is not here to see it happen in person. It would be really cool if we could still make it happen for him.
We started a team in Mike's honor "Kaiser's Krew" for the Polar Plunge on February 15 at Caesars's Creek.
Would you consider joining the team? I want to build a team of friendly and enthusiastic people who are certain to make the event more fun! And at the same time, MSD/RSM wants to help support the mission of Special Olympics Ohio, which is to provide year-round sports and training competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities. So, we need people like YOU for the dream team!
We know that participating in an event that raises money for such a worthy cause and organization would touch your life in a special way. Think about the ways that sports have impacted those around you. The money we raise will go to supporting the 22,000 athletes of Special Olympics Ohio. We need your support, so please do anything you can - join THE team or even make a donation
Also, if you do not want to jump there is a “Too Chicken to Plunge” option so you can still come and enjoy the fun without the chill! We appreciate your support and look forward to seeing you at the Caesar Creek Polar Plunge!
Thanks again! - Tori Sherrock
