United CLE Plane Pull

Put your strength to the ultimate test and join us for the 10th annual United Cleveland Plane Pull! 

Every year the Plane Pull challenges hundreds of people throughout the state to test their strength for Special Olympics Ohio. Be a part of the hottest event of the year and pull a plane, donate, spectate or volunteer!

Teams of 20 members will attempt to pull an airliner twelve feet (12) down the runway at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport on Saturday, July 13, 2019. The team that pulls the plane the fastest WINS! Each team must raise a minimum amount of $750 to participate. 

By registering for the Cleveland Plane Pull you'll help in supporting the 21,000 Special Olympics athletes of Ohio! Your donations and fundraising efforts will assist us in providing year-round sports training and competition for children and adults with intellectual disabilities. Thank you for your support!

Event Schedule

Early Check-In/Registration
at West Park Station (17015 Lorain Ave., Cleveland, OH 44111) 

TEAM CAPTAINS ONLY; However, team members can come to West Park Station to enjoy some food and drinks! 

5:00 PM - 7:00 PM 

Saturday, July 13, 2019 
Check-In/Registration, Plane Pull
at the I-X's Center Parking Lot (1 I-X Center Dr., Cleveland, OH 44135)

9:00 AM - 11:00 AM - Check-In/Registration
TEAM CAPTAINS ONLY; All team captains who do not attend early check-in on Thursday must check-in during this time.

10:00 AM - 1:00 PM - Plane Pull
The first pull will be at 10 AM. Teams will pull by division. Awards will be presented at the end of each division.

1:30 PM - Kid's Pull
Kids (ages 6-14) will get a chance to pull the plane too! Registration for the Kids Pull will take place on-site, the day of the event. A parent or guardian must be present to sign the waiver form.
