Ohio Law Enforcement
Torch Run

Thursday, June 20th - Friday, June 28th
Statewide

The Law Enforcement Torch Run (LETR) for Special Olympics Ohio is a partnership between Special Olympics and law enforcement agencies throughout the state. Officers join together to bike, run, walk, all across the state, carrying the Flame of Hope into Columbus to ignite the ceremonial cauldron to officially begin the 2019 Special Olympics Ohio State Summer Games.

There is no cost to participate in the 2019 Ohio Law Enforcement Torch Run. A minimum donation fee of $25 is encouraged and will earn you a 2019 Ohio LETR running shirt. Officers and runners alike are encouraged to collect donations from colleagues, friends and family members. Every donation goes towards providing year-round sports training and competition for over 21,000 Special Olympics Ohio athletes!

The Flame of Hope has been proudly carried by tens of thousands of officers over the past 32 years. Join us as we carry on the tradition of carrying the Flame of Hope for Special Olympics Ohio, raising funds and awareness along the way!
